Research and Planning 11/20: A good start to your blogging Michael. To show excellent research into films analyse many more film openings of your won finding - and include some youtube uploads, pictures and mindmaps to make your blog even more interesting. Try mentioning the fact that you're going to be making your own film and link your comments to that to show what you're learning. A promising start.

Horror Cliches

Sometimes stars the blonde pretty girl who is first to die, lonely situations where the car happens to break down in a dark open place where no one is arround often ending with them being drawn to a mysterious house. Scary locations woods, houses dark places etc. Tence moments, climax and anti climax and children tend to be evil. 

Romance Cliches

The genre Romance tends to have a happy ending, there are normally love rivals and by this there are normally confrontations thats ends up with the obvious choice. Will the wont they moments that create a tension build leaving you in suspence. Dramatic ironie, knowing he is the worng person and able to see why, a pushy mother and subordinate father. Mr right initially finds her annoying but this soon changes as he falls for her charm. A faithfull yet often hopeless side kick tending to be a loyal friend that although a loyal often useless help. Montage, a collection of clips with music over the top often used as you see the the personalitys of the charachters.
